Finding your way around Redeemer . . .
Physical Plant: Redeemer is actually three different buildings connected by covered cross ways. (1) When you enter our beautiful grounds from the Southside Blvd. Service Road, the first (and most eastern) building is the Sanctuary, featuring its spectacular bell tower. Enter the Narthex (west main door). (2) The middle building is the Parish Office, Rector Study and Conference Room (north side) and Parish (fellowship) Hall/kitchen and Choir Room (south side). (3) Our third building, The Education Building, houses classrooms used for the Food Pantry, nursery, bible study and special meetings. Upstairs over the classrooms is office space which Redeemer rents to businesses.
Church Parking Lots: There is ample parking along the entrance drive and in the large parking lot behind (west) of the Classrooms. No spaces are reserved except for handicapped spaces near the sanctuary entrance.
- Narthex: A small restroom is located just inside the Narthex to the right.
- Parish Offices: The largest restrooms are located in the Parish Offices, past the Rector’s Study and across from the conference room.
Where to Look
Each Sunday’s Church Bulletin has the worship plan, articles and announcements about all the programs and events taking place at Redeemer. At midweek the Redeemer Newsletter is emailed to the Redeemer family. It has the latest updates. We are also on Facebook. And of course, the most complete information about Redeemer is found under the menu items of this Website which is updated at least weekly. If you would like to receive our electronic newsletter please check with the parish administrator during the week.
In the Narthex, on the tables, you will find announcements, flyers, and sign up sheets for upcoming activities. On the board on the left wall hang member name tags which you see each Sunday. Ask how you can get yours!
Who to Ask
Judy Jackson is our parish administrator. She has all or most of the answers to any questions. Call her at 904.642.4575 during the week, or ask a Vestry member on Sunday or ask any Redeemer clergy or staff member.
