Daughters of the king
The Order of the Daughters of the King® (DOK) is a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of Prayer, Service and Evangelism. We are lay and ordained women who have made a commitment to Jesus as our Savior, and we follow Him as Lord of our lives. We are women who, in the midst of our daily lives, find community and spiritual support in our St. Clare Chapter here at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer.
Women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church, churches in communion with it, or churches in the Historic Episcopate may become Daughters of the King. A series of training sessions is required. Today membership includes women in the Anglican, Episcopal, Lutheran (ELCA) and Roman Catholic churches. There are approximately 25,000 Daughters of the King in the US and 5,000 international Daughters in eighteen countries. For information on how to join the DOK, please inquire in the church office.
